Recent nearly 90 representatives of Europe's largest pension funds and other asset owners gathered for three days of presentations, discussions and idea sharing at the European Investment Roundtable, organised by Institutional Investor, which runs the Sovereign Wealth Center. Here is an insight into how these investors see three big topics for major investors in Europe. Facing Up to the Reality of Brexit The increasingly troubled exit of the UK from the European Union was a frequent topic of conversation among delegates at this year’s European Investment Roundtable, held in Copenhagen, on September 26-28. This is not surprising, given that the UK’s departure dates is in less than six months away, and Theresa May’s Chequers proposals on how to do this were soundly rejected at the recent EU summit in Salzburg.
