Over the past week, NZ Super named an acting CEO in anticipation of Adrian Orr's departure in mid-March; Alaska's sovereign wealth fund initiated a search for a real estate consultant to help in defining a new global strategy for the asset class; and GIC formed a joint venture to invest in North American data centers. NZ Super's CIO Matt Whineray Takes Helm as Acting CEO The New Zealand Superannuation Fund, better known as NZ Super, has announced that CIO Matt Whineray will serve as acting CEO of the sovereign wealth fund from mid-March, when current CEO Adrian Orr leaves the organization to take up his new role as governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.
