Occupying the top floors of the Capital Tower in Singapore’s bustling Central Business District, GIC’s head office commands striking views of the city-state’s main seaport and the sparkling blues of the Singapore Strait beyond. From 40 stories up, the shipping containers look as small and colorful as Lego bricks, but even at this height, the ebbs and flows of maritime trade are clearly visible.
