In the third quarter sovereign wealth funds sealed seven real estate and infrastructure deals worth a combined $2.2 billion, almost 90 percent of their total direct investment during that period. Developed markets continued to attract the most capital, but real estate and infrastructure in emerging economies including China and India are starting to draw sovereign funds’ attention.
