Meet the Editorial Team

Loch Adamson, Director

Loch Adamson is the director of the Sovereign Wealth Center. She joined Institutional Investor in 2004 and served as the magazine’s London Bureau Chief for seven years. In the 2010-’11 academic year, she was the Donald W. Reynolds Nieman Fellow in Business Journalism at Harvard University. Prior to joining Institutional Investor, Loch was a senior writer at Worth magazine in New York. She holds an MS in journalism with honors from Columbia University, where she was awarded a Pulitzer Fellowship for international reporting by the faculty; she also holds a BA in comparative literature and a BA in art from Brown University.

Jess Delaney, Head of Data and Research

Jess Delaney is the Sovereign Wealth Center’s head of data and research. Jess joined Institutional Investor in 2015 as a staff writer for the magazine, where he focused on investment strategies of sovereign wealth and government pension funds. Prior to joining Institutional Investor, Jess worked as a researcher for the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute and as a reporter for Mergermarket. He holds a BA in mathematics and economics from Reed College in Oregon.

Meet the Sales Team


Patrick McCulloch, Head of Sales

Patrick McCulloch joined the Sovereign Wealth Center (SWC) as Head of Sales in 2017.  Working across Institutional Investor’s asset management and conference divisions, including the Sovereign Investor Institute (SII) and SWC, Mr. McCulloch oversees the day-to-day management of current subscribers and assists new clients. His role involves presenting and pitching SWC’s service to a variety of interested parties, gaining feedback to improve the quality of the site, supervising internal processes and managing client relationships. He previously worked in subscription sales and client management across a variety of Institutional Investor and Euromoney publications in the UK and Hong Kong. Mr. McCulloch has a BA History and Politics from the University of Ulster. Patrick is currently based in the company's London Office.
